RETURNS & EXCHANGES
At House of Reem, we take great pride in the quality of our products and services. We work tirelessly to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase.
All customers agree that purchase of any product through www.HouseofReem.com or www.ReemAkkad.com or through Reem Akkad Design constitutes agreement to all terms and conditions set forth below.
Please note that all sales made through the House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design online e-commerce website are final. House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design does not accept returns or exchanges for online purchases. The customer should call House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design with any questions before placing an order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
All sales are final on furniture, lighting, and custom orders. Returns and exchanges are accepted on accessories and pillows only within 5 days of purchase. If the 5-day window is exceeded on a purchase, said purchase will be considered a final sale.
Returned merchandise should be in the same condition as when the customer received it, unused, undamaged, saleable, with original tags and packaging.
Custom upholstery items created by Reem Akkad Design for clients of House of Reem are identified as "final sale" and cannot be returned.
House of Reem reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if returned merchandise is in saleable condition and if item is returnable.
In-Store Purchases: Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. Please note that it may take 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on the customer’s account.
In-Store Purchases: Exchanges can be made for items of equal or lesser value. If the customer would like to exchange an item for a more expensive item, they will be responsible for paying the difference in price.
Damaged or Defective Items
At House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design, we know how frustrating a damaged or defective item can be. If the customer's item is damaged or defective, House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design will be sure to get a resolution if reported within 24 hours of the delivery date. To ensure House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design can make your order right, photos of the package as it arrived, photos of any damage to the box, and photos of the damage to the item will be required. All damages must be noted before signing off on a delivery. If damage is extensive, the customer should refuse the delivery and SHOULD NOT sign off on the delivery and SHOULD NOT accept it. If the customer is instructed to return the original item and it is not received at the returns center within 10 days of the request, House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design reserves the right to reverse the refund or reverse the charge for a replacement unit. House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design reserves the right to refuse to service any damaged or defective item reported more than 24 hours after the delivery date. House of Reem by Reem Akkad Design refuses the right to service any damage claim if the above instructions are not followed.
All Items must be returned in the item's original packaging.
Report Damaged or Defective Items
Customers are required to report damaged or defective goods to House of Reem within 24 hours of delivery in order to receive a replacement, refund, or resolution. or refund.
A written description of the damage along with photos should be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Photos required for replacement/return of damaged item:
- The entire item (out of the box - if safe, please inspect the item even if the packaging is damaged),
- The damage to the packaging
- Close-up and clear photos of the damage
Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping for returns or exchanges, unless the item received was damaged or defective.
